Birley Spa Community Primary School is set in attractive grounds with extensive playing fields and play areas. It has panoramic views of the surrounding areas. The school building has a comprehensive security system provided by video cameras and a single point of entry. The children are offered a broad, balanced education provision in order to stimulate interest and imagination. Children have the opportunity to learn from first hand experience and extend their knowledge, skills and understanding through a range of activities including regular out of school visits. The curriculum continues and progresses as the children join year one, to meet the statutory requirements for mathematics, science, English, design technology, religious education, history, geography, music, physical education and art.
